Guided Meditation Helps Tap Into the Power of the Unconscious Mind

I perform guided meditation using powerful imagery created through speech that brings to the surface the continuous influx of your thoughts. The thoughts themselves never completely go away, but the energy behind them can be transformed into a state of self-love and empowerment. When you access that state of mind on a regular basis, there is almost nothing that can stand in your way.

So, What Is Guided Meditation?

Hey everyone, Ben here! I’m with you today to talk about meditation, in particular guided meditation, and the way that I do it that’s special and unique.

Ok! So for years I was a Zen practitioner, where you sit, you look at the floor, and you perceive your mind, and you see all your crazy thinking.  After doing this for years I got very good at knowing how crazy I am (lol)! And then knowing how to put it down and just come back to this moment and be present.

But, there was a level of anxiety that started to come up because I started to think “wait a second, maybe there’s more depth to these thoughts?” Thoughts are actually what I refer to as the tip of the iceberg. We have our thoughts, but there’s actually a big body beneath them, and this body taps into the essence and nature of our soul.  And just sitting and breathing and coming into a relaxed place isn’t going to tap into the soul body.

That’s where guided meditation comes in. So, I create imagery in my guided meditation that taps into a person’s unique journey.  Not necessarily everything that’s happened in their life, but the story of their soul that goes back lifetimes. And again, if you’re not into all the soul stuff, it’s tapping into the unconscious mind. And the unconscious mind gets activated through the imagination. I create imagery using nature, animals, colors, sounds that brings up the power of the unconscious mind and places it in the conscious mind so people can become aware of the body, the soul body iceberg underneath them.

Once that is activated and people have an awareness of their truth, of their power, and the hidden peace that really rests and resides within each and every one of us, then they’re able to take transformative steps in their life because they have this deeper knowing and they have guidance.
